Who is Mixed Barbershop Harmony Association?

The Mixed Barbershop Harmony Association (MBHA) is a not-for-profit charitable organization serving the needs of mixed barbershop harmony in North America. Established in 2014, its leadership includes men and women with considerable experience both in the barbershop style in general, and in performing in mixed-voice ensembles. MBHA has a cooperative agreement with Harmony, Inc., sharing education and contest opportunities, and is an affiliate of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

Our mission: To promote, encourage, and celebrate mixed voice Barbershop Harmony in North America

Through the MBHA, mixed barbershop harmony ensembles will find opportunities to hone their craft, attend educational events, participate in festivals and contests, and the ability to represent North America on the world stage at the World Mixed Harmony Competition in Germany, hosted by Barbershop in Germany (BinG!).
