SAD NEWS: RIP RON MORDEN

Our founder and first president, Ron Morden, has passed peacefully.  We will be forever grateful to him and his late wife for their pioneering work on establishing the Mixed Barbershop Harmony Association. Ron leaves a lasting legacy with MBHA and will always be revered as our founder and first International President.

His friend John Donehower writes:  “Friends!  Just a note to let those that knew Ron Morden know that he passed away this week.  He had been in a memory ward for the last few years.  Ron was a legend in the CSD having sung with JAX OF HARMONY.  Ron and his late wife, Jayne, were also big movers and shakers in the world of Mixed Barbershop.  He was an EIH guy long before any of us knew what EIH was or could be. Ron was a truly great man.  May he REST IN PEACE…”
